Supply Chain Inventory Analyst
Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Supply Chain Inventory Analyst to manage production material inventory strategy at the Ferentino site. The role balances customer service levels with financial performance and warehouse capacity through forecasting, stock level definition, and control procedures.
Responsibilities
Analyze and forecast internal and external warehouse occupancy levels for production materials
Define inventory levels and rotation schedules aligned with production plans and supplier lead times
Implement inventory control procedures to ensure stock accuracy and prevent shortages or overstock
Monitor obsolescence impacts, quantify financial effects, and drive reduction initiatives
Support physical inventory planning and reconciliation in coordination with warehouse teams
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in technical or economics disciplines
Minimum five years' experience in industrial environments
Proficiency with SAP and advanced Excel skills
Experience in Sales & Operations Planning
Fluent English language ability
Preferred: pharmaceutical sector experience or cGMP knowledge; APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP); advanced Power BI skills
