Overview In this role you develop software for plant control within SMS's Center of Excellence Electrics/Automation. You take over Level 1 programming, run tests, and perform functional commissioning at customer sites. You'll participate in and lead cross-team and customer meetings to ensure smooth delivery. You'll work with global teams, contributing to scalable automation solutions and ensuring quality during handover to customers. This is a hands-on engineering role with international travel and a direct impact on project success.

Responsabilità

Develop automation software for plant control

Takeover Level 1 programming, perform testing and functional commissioning at customer premises

Participate in and lead meetings with SMS teams, customers, and suppliers

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery





Requisiti fondamentali

Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science

Proven programming competence in PLC automation systems (

S7-TIA

, S7-400)

Experience with Rockwell, ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT

Knowledge of HMI development platforms; Siemens SIMATIC WinCC

Analytical thinking and ability to work in a team

Very good English language skills

Proficiency in MS Office

Willingness to travel worldwide
