The opportunity We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Business Unit Grid Integration in Milan.
Perform strategic sourcing work to manage risk and optimize the value/resilience of materials/services sourcing
Establish supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs
Negotiate contracts and coordinate supplier integration plans with internal clients
Monitor market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing
Partner with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends and define acceptable service levels
Degree in Engineering, Economics or related fields; Fluent in Italian and English; More than 5 years of experience in similar roles inside complex organizations; Good knowledge of SAP is a plus; Proactivity and excellent negotiation skills are required.
