Mechanical Engineer
pFluid Wire Robotics is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer in Pisa, Italy. Contract: tempo pieno. Degree level: Master's or PhD in mechanical engineering. Language: English. Work experience: 1+ years (PhD or academic research counts). The role covers designs the mechanical hardware of the company's fluid-wire-actuated robotic platforms for the planned mid-2027 commercialisation of its robotic arm. Takes fluid-wire mechanisms from concept to detailed CAD, then manufactures, assembles and iterates components and prototypes, integrates mechanisms into complete robots, validates performance in lab testing and designs for harsh conditions including high temperature, radiation, vacuum and space. /ph3Requirements:
