b Arzachena /ph3We're Hiring | Cluster Finance Controller /h3pAn exceptional career opportunity for a senior hospitality finance leader to join two ultra-luxury resort hotels in Sardinia in a cluster leadership role. /ppWe are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Cluster Finance Controller to lead financial operations, controls, and business performance across two flagship luxury properties. /h3h3Financial Control: /h3ulliOverseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses /liliImplementing and reviewing Financial policies /liliAudit compliance including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders /li /ulh3Financial Reporting: /h3ulliProduction of monthly financial reporting GAAP /liliOverseeing budgeting forecasting process and long term planning /liliMonthly and annual reporting /li /ulh3Financial Performance: /h3ulliResponsible for monitoring budgets and for reporting major deviations of over-expenditure, under-budgeting or non-compliance to the approved budget /liliBusiness partner with two General Managers implementing controls, solutions, and action plans /liliAssist the General Managers in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operations /liliAdvise and provide counsel to the General Managers, HODs and finance teams on all financial matters /li /ulh3Treasury Tax /h3ulliTreasury management, cash planning,
reviewing the cash position in order to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the business /liliReview all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changes /li /ulh3Other /h3ulliSupport the financial function of any opening of new products. /liliAssist with the accounting related to any hotel or other asset sales, product closure and ownership changes /liliTogether with the General Managers, manage the relations with third party, owners and/or partners /liliFacilitate the best communication and reporting between the Belmond regional office in Milan and the Cheval Blanc corporate offices in Paris /liliCommunicate relevant information to the Divisional Financial Controllers and the General Managers /li /ululliProven experience as Director of Finance / Financial Controller in luxury or ultra-luxury hotels or resorts /liliStrong cluster / multi-property exposure preferred /liliSolid leadership skills with commercial mindset and hands-on approach /liliFluent in English and Italian /li /ulpPermanent employment contract in accordance to C.
