/ph3Your Role And Responsibilities /h3pIn this role, you will be leading the execution of projects with different complexities and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety environment requirements, cost/profitability targets and scheduling targets.
/ph3The Work Model For The Role Is /h3pIn this role, you'll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: /pulliDefining, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
/liliEnsuring that the project follows execution's best practices and ABB policies.
Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization, monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow.
/liliIdentifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing risk, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
/liliCapturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project and ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed.
/liliDriving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
/liliEnsuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management,
in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
/liliSupporting Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims and project changes and act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
/li /ulh3Qualifications For The Role /h3ulliEngineering background with at least 5+ years of experience as Project Manager.
/liliGood knowledge in automation, electrical and hydro power systems.
/liliProactivity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills will complete your profile.
/liliAble to work under pressure, to operate in a resource constrained environment, to manage many projects concurrently, to set priorities, and to be goal oriented.
Ownership and commitment in all your tasks are mandatory.
Ability to understand customer needs.
/liliDemonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with internal departments including Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance.
Experience with project management tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred) is essential.
/liliStrong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in both technical and commercial contexts.
/liliPM certifications will be a plus (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA).
/liliYou are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
/liliAvailability to short trips in Italy and abroad, up to 30% of the time.
