Sales Project Manager - Sealing Technologies (All Genders)
Overview
In this role you provide technical leadership for rubber molding components and establish efficient processes with cross-functional teams. You guide design-to-cost activities, supplier selection, and sampling to serial production, while driving cost efficiency and supply reliability. You collaborate with sales, sourcing, and international partners to deliver innovative, competitive rubber solutions. You will act as the technical center of excellence for rubber molding and support business growth through engineering projects.

Responsabilità
Provide technical leadership for injection and compression molded rubber components, including tooling, compounds, and production processes.
Lead should-cost analyses during quotation and select suitable manufacturing partners.
Drive design-to-cost by optimizing material choices, tooling concepts, and production technologies.
Manage Make-or-Buy decisions, supplier selection, and sampling from prototype to PPAP/serial production.
Optimize Total Cost of Ownership by developing a strong supplier portfolio ensuring quality, cost, and reliability.
Lead engineering projects and contribute to product and business development strategies.
Collaborate with sales, sourcing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative customer solutions.
Requisiti fondamentali
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymeric Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
5+ years hands-on rubber manufacturing experience, especially injection molding of rubber parts
Strong project management experience in an international, customer-facing environment
Extensive knowledge of rubber molding technologies and tooling design
Understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier selection, should-cost analyses, and procurement basics
Ability to read technical drawings and perform strong analytical work
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Fluency in English and Italian language skills
Proactive and self-driven mindset
Excellent communication
Customer orientation
