KPMG Open Platform is our new innovation Hub based in Naples, created to develop service models and technology-driven solutions for businesses and the Public Administration.
Its areas of focus include Cyber Security, Program Management for large-scale public sector transformation programmes, Application Maintenance and Managed Services.
As part of the SAP Tech Team, you will handle ABAP development on the core of our clients' SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems, ensuring their evolution and operational continuity.
Specifically, you will:
Developreports, enhancements and custom objectsinABAP, from functional specifications through to go-live.
Handlechange requestsandenhancementson clients' SAP systems, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
Independently analyse and resolveproduction issues and incidentsthroughdebuggingand code analysis.
Build and maintaininterfacesbetween SAP and non-SAP systems usingIDocs, RFCs and BAPIs.
Driveperformance optimisationandcode qualityacross the solutions you develop.
Work closely withfunctional consultantsandclient IT stakeholders, preparingestimates and technical documentation.

This opportunity is perfect for you if you:
Havesolid experience in ABAP developmenton support or implementation projects.
Have strong command ofABAP OO, BAdIs, user exits, ALV andforms(SmartForms or Adobe Forms), and know theData Dictionarywell.
Have experience developinginterfacesand analysingproduction issues.
Knowledge ofS/4HANA,CDS ViewsandAMDPis a plus.
Have ahands-on approach, are curious about the evolution of the SAP platform and care aboutcode quality.
Have a good command of English and enjoy working in a team.
Are willing to travel in Italy and abroad according to project needs.

Standard employment contract under the collective labour agreement for the commerce sector, with a gross annual salary ranging from €29,500 to €43,000 for the Senior Group.
The salary is determined on the basis of objective criteria, including the candidate's skills and experience assessed against the requirements of the role.
