The group generated €100M in revenue in 2025 and forecasts €140M in revenue in 2026 across all its activities. GDS SOLE is the Italian subsidiary of GÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE. Based in Milan, it operates throughout Italy and has a team of 9 people, with a 450 MWp pipeline under development, including 75 MWp already in operation. ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Finance & accounting specialist to support our rapid growth on the Italian market. Reporting to the Finance & Administrative Manager, you will support accounting operations, financial reporting, and controlling activities,
contributing to the company's financial accuracy and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day accounting/treasury/controlling activities
* Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Monitor financial performance and prepare internal reports
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with external auditors and advisors
* Improve and streamline financial processes and controls
YOUR PROFILE
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 2–5 years of experience in accounting or controlling roles preferably in companies operating in the renewable energy sector
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (ERP systems are a plus) familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
* Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
* Good organizational and communication skills
* Good knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level) and knowledge of French language is a plus
