Randstad Inhouse, Specialty Pharma, for a multinational company in consumer healthcare sector is looking for a Senior Principal Scientist.
Work area: Pomezia
Contractual situation: 12 fixed-term contract
Responsabilità
Key Responsibilities
- Lead formulation development, reformulation and product optimization for Oral Care products.
- Lead the definition of product and formulation strategy, translating consumer, business and technicalrequirements into product solutions.
- Lead experimental strategy, including the design, execution and interpretation of laboratory studies to build
- pro Lead technical problem solving, applying scientific expertise to understand and address formulation,ingredient, stability, performance and product-quality challenges.
- Maintain end-to-end technical accountability for product development, ensuring product design intent andkey technical requirements are maintained through qualification and commercialization.
- Partner closely with Technical Operations during process development, scale-up, technology transfer and manufacturing implementation, providing formulation expertise and technical direction.
- Lead technical activities within cross-functional project teams, collaborating with Technical Operations,
- Quality, Regulatory, Medical, Marketing and other R&D; functions.
- Ensure product designs meet consumer needs, performance expectations, quality, safety and regulatory
- requirements.

Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Materials Science or a related scientific discipline.
- Strong experience in formulation and product development, preferably within Oral Care, consumer healthcare, cosmetics or other formulated consumer products.
- Demonstrated hands-on formulation and experimental experience.
- Strong knowledge of formulation science, ingredients, product performance and product development principles.
- Demonstrated experience in leading technical workstreams and solving complex scientific and formulation challenges.
- Experience partnering with technical functions across the product development lifecycle, including process development and commercialization.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate experimental data into clear technical recommendations and decisions.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
