Application Development & Support Specialist
Overview
In this role you will develop and support both product configurator logic and 3D visualisation integration for Vertiv’s CPQ ecosystem. You will bridge configuration models to 3D assets, and shape product models and pricing rules to support global deployments. Working with cross-functional teams, you will optimize performance and contribute to scalable, reusable solutions. This position offers hands-on learning with Tacton CPQ and VizStudio in a global context, with a clear impact on product configurability and visualization quality.
Responsabilità
- Develop and maintain JavaScript-based visualisation logic linking CPQ models to 3D assets (visibility, geometry, materials, camera).
- Define technical requirements for 3D assets and collaborate with 3D Visualisation Artist.
- Debug visualisation defects and optimise runtime across browsers and devices.
- Create and maintain reusable script libraries and document visualisation standards.
- Build and maintain digital product models in Tacton CPQ and ensure alignment with architectural blueprints.
- Develop UI within the configurator and support alpha/beta testing and releases.
- Maintain CPQ integrations with ERP/CRM and pricing tools; handle ticket-based maintenance (ServiceNow).
- Translate business requirements into technical specs and participate in solution architecture reviews.
Requisiti fondamentali
- Strong hands-on JavaScript development.
- Experience with CPQ platforms, preferably Tacton CPQ or similar (Configure One, Oracle CPQ).
- Knowledge of product configuration modelling, constraints-based/rule-based configuration, and data structures (BOM, variants).
- Understanding of core 3D concepts and ability to reason about 3D scenes programmatically.
- Experience with version control (Git) and ticket-based development environments (ServiceNow).
- Prefixed knowledge of Python, Java, VB.NET or SQL is a plus; CAD data familiarity is advantageous.
- Excellent English communication; willingness to work in an international environment.
