Power Systems Engineer
Overview
In this role you support the grid integration of wind, solar and other power plants by performing on-site testing, data analysis and grid-code assessments. You will work with an international team to verify compliance with national and international grid requirements, combining hands-on field work with analysis and reporting. The position mixes field testing, customer interaction and project delivery, with travel and a strong focus on improving tools and methods. Responsabilità
- Install and commission measurement systems at power plants
- Perform Grid Code Compliance and power-quality testing
- Monitor measurement campaigns and collect data
- Troubleshoot sensors, measurement equipment and data-acquisition systems
- Prepare and specify equipment for testing
- Analyze data against grid codes and standards
- Interpret results and prepare technical reports
- Present findings to customers
- Manage power-quality projects (scope, schedule, costs)
- Coordinate with customers throughout project delivery
- Contribute to technical proposals, contracts and bids
- Help improve tools, processes and ways of working
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)
- Experience in energy/power/renewables or related technical environment
- Foundational knowledge of electrical measurements and equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, data loggers)
- Professional Italian and good written/spoken English
- Ability to analyze technical data and communicate conclusions
- Practical, problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently at customer sites
- Good organization and time-management skills
- Willingness to travel ~60% or more of working time
