Tendering Support Engineer
Overview As Tendering Support Engineer, you enable winning bids by delivering robust technical content and well‐structured proposals for ETO projects. You collaborate with Tendering, Sales and Engineering to translate customer needs into compliant solutions and accurate BOMs. You'll shape preliminary designs, assess risks, and ensure adherence to standards throughout the bid process. * Provide engineering support during the tendering process to deliver timely technical content for proposals and pre‐sales activities
* Analyze customer specifications and drawings to define optimal solutions, identify deviations and risks
* Develop preliminary designs, sizing, system configurations, and BOMs for bid preparation (ETO and customized systems)
* Create or contribute to technical documentation such as descriptions, overviews, and clarifications
* Collaborate with internal engineering teams, product management, procurement,
vendors and project management to validate feasibility
* Supply engineering data for cost estimation, including quantities, alternative solutions, and design assumptions; estimate engineering hours
* Ensure proposed solutions comply with standards, customer requirements and internal guidelines
* Identify technical risks and propose mitigation measures; support internal tender reviews
* Available to travel up to 10% for customer meetings Requisiti fondamentali
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
* Experience in technical support, tendering, pre‐sales, or engineering roles
* Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and translate it into proposals
* Excellent communication skills for clear proposal documentation
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities
* Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency with Autocad and MS Office Suite
