Application Support Technician
Required Technical
Skills:
The resource MUST have the following skills and
experience:
* Minimum five years of experience in application maintenance and general IT support;
* Good working knowledge of client/server applications in a Windows/Linux environment;
* Good working knowledge of Database Management;
* Very good knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.
* High school diploma The resource SHOULD have the following skills and
experience:
* At least three years of experience administering Microsoft Windows server, SQL Server databases and .
NET applications.
* Good working knowledge of MySQL, RedHat Linux server, and Drupal applications
* Good working knowledge of global Active Directory Architecture, AWS and Azure
* Familiarity with United Nations policy framework for International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) or compliant operational concepts and processes
* Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable Desirable certifications:
* Certifications and advanced training in Microsoft technologies
* Certification and familiarity with ITIL concepts and processes Teleworking Option: Yes, up to 1 day per week. On-call
requirements:
