IT Director
Italy/Bologna | Permanent / 5 Days in the office per week
A PE-backed Italian manufacturing business is seeking an IT Director to lead its technology function during a key period of operational development and integration.
The role will take ownership of IT infrastructure, business systems and technology strategy, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and integrating recently acquired businesses.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading IT within a manufacturing or multi-site business.
- Strong infrastructure and IT operations background.
- Solid Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
- Experience managing post-acquisition IT integrations.
- PE-backed experience highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead the IT function and wider technology strategy.
- Oversee infrastructure,
systems and IT operations.
- Drive the development and optimisation of Dynamics 365.
- Manage the integration of acquired businesses and their systems.
- Ensure IT supports wider business objectives and operational requirements.
- Work closely with senior leadership and external technology partners.

- Hands-on, commercially minded IT leader.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, production-led environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and accountability.
- Experience preparing technology functions for growth or exit advantageous.
