Craft Worker
OverviewIn this role you will support the production, installation, maintenance, and repair of electric motors and generators within ABB's Motion Service division in Italy.
Based in Vittuone, you will work in a collaborative team to ensure equipment performance and production flow.
You will tackle assembly and testing challenges, troubleshoot issues, and occasionally service customer sites.

ResponsabilitàExecute tasks according to ABB standard workflows and safety guidelines
Troubleshoot and report issues during assembly or testing
Ensure availability of required materials for defined workflows
Maintain operation and upkeep of equipment to meet production schedules
Occasionally perform activities at customer sites
Requisiti fondamentaliSolid knowledge of electric motors, bearings and general mechanical principles
Skilled in using mechanical measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, comparators)
Basic understanding of mechanical assembly processes
English communication (spoken and written) considered a plus
Availability for occasional travel to customer sites
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and team collaboration
Basic knowledge of insulation principles for electrical machines and electromechanical dynamics
Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
