GDS SOLE
is the Italian subsidiary of GÉNÉRALE DU SOLAIRE. Based in Milan, it operates throughout Italy and has a team of 9 people, with a 450 MWp pipeline under development, including 75 MWp already in operation.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Finance & accounting specialist to support our rapid growth on the Italian market. Reporting to the Finance & Administrative Manager, you will support accounting operations, financial reporting, and controlling activities,
contributing to the company's financial accuracy and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting/treasury/controlling activities
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Monitor financial performance and prepare internal reports
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with external auditors and advisors
Improve and streamline financial processes and controls
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in accounting or controlling roles preferably in companies operating in the renewable energy sector
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (ERP systems are a plus) familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Good organizational and communication skills
Good knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level) and knowledge of French language is a plus
