Release Engineer
Overview In this role you drive end-to-end release management for a cloud-native platform, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality product deliveries. You streamline installation and PoC timelines while automating release processes and contributing to platform development with Golang and Kubernetes. You’ll work within Cisco Isovalent to enable a unified customer experience and scale reliable software across complex environments. * Manage end-to-end release process to deliver a unified customer experience
* Coordinate with multi-functional teams to accelerate work and ensure timely releases
* Streamline installation processes to reduce PoC timelines and improve customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain reliable software,
using GitHub for version control
* Implement automation strategies to enhance release efficiency and reliability
* Develop, support, and improve the platform using Golang and Kubernetes Requisiti fondamentali
* 6+ years of experience in release management or a similar role within a software development environment
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
* Experienced with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and a programming/scripting language such as Golang (preferred) or Python
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
