Senior Platform Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build and operate an enterprise-scale cloud platform on AWS. You will develop internal tools and frameworks that enable teams across multiple business units to deliver securely and efficiently, within a complex, distributed organisation.
Key responsibilities
* Design and build internal platform tools and frameworks that standardise and automate cloud operations.
* Build and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS.
* Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform at an advanced level.
* Architect AWS-native solutions and integrate AWS services effectively.
* Support governance, compliance and security standards across the platform. Essential skills and experience
* Proven platform engineering experience, including building internal tools and frameworks.
* Proficiency in Python, Go,
or a similar language used for automation and tooling.
* Advanced Terraform experience that goes beyond basic resource provisioning.
* Production experience with Amazon EKS, including building and operating Kubernetes clusters.
* Deep knowledge of AWS-native architecture and integration across AWS services. Desirable skills and experience
* Enterprise-scale experience across multiple business units and complex organisations.
* Governance and compliance experience.
* Change management experience in large, distributed organisations.
* Experience with AWS Organizations and multi-account strategies.
