As a Special Process Technical Leader you will be responsible for:
Manufacturing Process Engineering
- Develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes across surface treatment and mechanical machining operations.
- Define and control process parameters to ensure product quality, repeatability, productivity, and compliance with customer and internal specifications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation (work instructions, process sheets, control plans, FMEA, technical specifications).
- Support capacity planning, process balancing, and manufacturing workflow optimization.
Production Technologies & Automation
- Support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of automated manufacturing systems, robotic cells, and process control solutions.
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, process capability, and overall operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Quality and Technical Support
- Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing,
and Materials Engineering teams to investigate production issues and process-related anomalies.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support qualification and validation activities for new processes, equipment, and production technologies.
- Utilize data analysis and process capability tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
New Process Introduction & Continuous Improvement
- Lead industrialization projects from concept development through production implementation.
- Drive process improvements focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, R&D;, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to introduce new technologies and manufacturing solutions.
- Support investment projects related to manufacturing equipment, automation, and process optimization.

To be successful in this role you have:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, repair, or industrial production environments within aerospace, energy, automotive, or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as machining, surface treatments, assembly processes, automation systems, robotic applications, and industrial process control.
- Understanding of production processes, quality systems, process validation, and industrialization methodologies.
- Familiarity with metrology, NDT techniques, statistical process control, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
