We’re Hiring | Cluster Finance ControllerAn exceptional career opportunity for a senior hospitality finance leader to join two ultra-luxury resort hotels in Sardinia in a cluster leadership role.
We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Cluster Finance Controller to lead financial operations, controls, and business performance across two flagship luxury properties. /h3ullibFinancial Control: /bulliOverseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses /liliImplementing and reviewing Financial policies /liliAudit compliance including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders /li /ul /lilibFinancial Reporting: /bulliProduction of monthly financial reporting GAAP /liliOverseeing budgeting forecasting process and long term planning /liliMonthly and annual reporting /li /ul /lilibFinancial Performance: /bulliResponsible for monitoring budgets and for reporting major deviations of over-expenditure, under-budgeting or non-compliance to the approved budget /liliBusiness partner with two General Managers implementing controls, solutions, and action plans /liliAssist the General Managers in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operations /liliAdvise and provide counsel to the General Managers, HODs and finance teams on all financial matters /li /ul /lilibTreasury Tax: /bulliTreasury management, cash planning,
reviewing the cash position in order to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the business /liliReview all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changes /liliOtherSupport the financial function of any opening of new products /liliAssist with the accounting related to any hotel or other asset sales, product closure and ownership changes /liliTogether with the General Managers, manage the relations with third party, owners and/or partners /liliFacilitate the best communication and reporting between the Belmond regional office in Milan and the Cheval Blanc corporate offices in Paris /liliCommunicate relevant information to the Divisional Financial Controllers and the General Managers /li /ul /li /ulpProven experience as Director of Finance / Financial Controller in luxury or ultra-luxury hotels or resorts /ppStrong cluster / multi-property exposure preferred /ppSolid leadership skills with commercial mindset and hands-on approach /pulliFluent in English and Italian /liliPermanent employment contract in accordance to C.
