ABOUT THE ROLE
J.K. Place Capri is seeking a passionate, service-oriented, and detail-driven Commis de Bar to join its Food & Beverage team.
Reporting directly to the Bar Manager, this role plays an essential part in delivering exceptional beverage experiences by supporting the daily operations of the bar and ensuring the highest standards of service, preparation, and presentation. The Commis de Bar assists in creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere while embodying the hospitality values and service philosophy that define the J.K. Place experience.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about luxury hospitality, eager to learn and grow within the world of mixology and beverage service, and committed to exceeding guest expectations through professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Bar Manager and Bartenders in the smooth and efficient operation of the bar during all service periods.
- Prepare and organize the bar mise en place, ensuring all products, equipment, garnishes, and supplies are readily available for service.
- Assist in the preparation of cocktails, beverages, fresh ingredients, garnishes, syrups, and other bar requirements according to established standards.
- Ensure bar areas, equipment, glassware, and storage areas are maintained in impeccable condition and cleanliness at all times.
- Welcome and interact with guests in a warm, professional, and discreet manner, reflecting the J.K. Place philosophy of personalized hospitality.
- Serve beverages accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and service.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage menus, cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic offerings.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and support inventory control procedures, reporting shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of beverage products in accordance with company standards.
- Support beverage service throughout all Food & Beverage outlets, including the Lounge Terrace and Pool area, whenever required.
- Collaborate closely with the restaurant, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless guest experiences.
- Contribute to creating memorable and personalized guest experiences through attention to detail and exceptional service.
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and respect while acting as an ambassador of the J.K. Place culture and values.
