Business Development Manager
Overview
In this role you will drive the Italian market expansion for a growing green-tech company, focusing on Milan and Northern Italy. You will build and manage a network of installers, distributors and channel partners while shaping local go-to-market strategies. You’ll promote technically-driven energy solutions and collaborate with the international HQ to align sales strategies. This position offers autonomy and visible impact in scaling a regional footprint within a global context.

Responsabilità
- Develop the company’s commercial presence in Italy and build a network of installers, wholesalers, distributors and technical channel partners
- Identify, approach and onboard new B2B partners to expand market coverage and drive sales
- Promote and sell technical solutions for efficient surplus photovoltaic energy in domestic hot water and heating applications, tailoring value propositions
- Manage the commercial pipeline,
monitor market developments and strengthen the company’s Italian positioning
- Collaborate with the international headquarters, provide market feedback and help shape local go-to-market initiatives
Requisiti fondamentali
- Solid experience in B2B sales, business development, key account management or channel sales
- Proven experience building commercial networks with installers, wholesalers, distributors or channel partners
- Background in renewable energy, photovoltaic systems, inverters, battery storage, electrical distribution, HVAC or related technologies
- Strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities and develop a market independently
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Native or fluent Italian and good English; German a plus
