Radar Technical Lead
Overview
As Radar Technical Lead in Milan, you will own the technical direction for a new ground-based tracking radar product line, shaping architecture and performance validation. You will coordinate hardware, processing and tracking algorithm teams to translate operational requirements into a field-ready product. You will balance detection range, resolution, clutter rejection, tracking accuracy and update rate with cost and delivery constraints. You report to the CEO and guide integration, field trials and customer-facing design decisions to drive a technically achievable product.
Responsabilità
- Define technical requirements and development roadmap for the radar product line
- Coordinate engineers across hardware, processing and tracking algorithms
- Make architecture and engineering trade-offs to meet performance and cost targets
- Oversee integration, laboratory testing, field trials and performance demonstrations
- Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans
- Explain design decisions to external stakeholders and contribute to specifications and cost estimates
- Support make-or-buy decisions
Requisiti fondamentali
- Several years of hands-on radar design, development, integration or testing experience
- Strong understanding of RF front-ends, antennas, radar processing, target detection and tracking
- Experience taking systems from requirements through validation with informed trade-offs
- Fluent English and ability to discuss requirements and performance with customers or partners
- Degree in electronics, telecommunications, physics or related discipline
- Eligible to work in Italy
- Previous technical leadership experience valued
