Technical Sales Manager: Your Potential, a New Trajectory

Pubblicato il 06-11-2026 · Oversonic · Milano

You are probably the person who can get a conversation moving when everyone else has reached a dead end.
• You notice when someone says yes but still has a doubt.
• You ask the question that gets to the real problem.
• You can take something unfamiliar, dig into it, and explain it so someone else understands. And when you see an opportunity, you do not just talk about it. You follow through. Maybe none of that appears in your current job title. If you recognise yourself here, keep reading. Your Next Chapter Could Be Robotics Oversonic Robotics builds humanoid robots for real industrial environments. We are looking for a technical sales manager with ambition, curiosity, and the instinct to earn people's trust and turn opportunities into business. You might already work in sales. You might come from hospitality, customer service, operations, or something completely different. You may never have worked in technology at all. That does not rule you out. We care less about whether your career has followed the expected path, and more about what you can become when you take a serious opportunity seriously. This could be your chance to change your professional trajectory. Not by pretending to be someone else, but by developing abilities you already have into a new profession. You Do Not Need to Arrive Knowing Robotics You do need to want to understand it. The learning curve is steep and demanding. We will be candid about that in the interview. You will need sustained study, careful preparation, and the willingness to have your understanding challenged and corrected. Ambition opens the door; consistent work builds the competence this role requires.

This is not a role where a confident pitch can replace product knowledge. You will need to dig into how our robots work, what they can do, where their limits are, and what a customer actually needs. You will learn from technical colleagues, ask questions, prepare carefully, and build the credibility to speak with engineers and business leaders alike. You do not have to know every answer. You do have to know when to investigate, when to involve engineering, and when a promise would go beyond what we can deliver. Robotics expertise can be learned. The willingness to master it has to come from you. What You Will Take Responsibility For
• Start and develop customer relationships, including reaching out to new prospects.
• Understand customers; operations and identify where robotics could create real value.
• Learn to explain complex capabilities clearly, in terms that matter to the customer.
• Work with engineering to assess applications and establish realistic expectations.
• Lead customer conversations and coordinate demonstrations, proposals, and commercial next steps.
• Handle objections, negotiate, and work toward signed agreements without making unsupported promises.

• Keep the CRM accurate and follow through on commitments, decisions, and deadlines.
• This is a hands-on commercial role. The point is not simply to have "manager"; in your title. It is to take ownership of opportunities and earn results. What We Are Looking For
• Someone who reads people well, but also listens.
• Someone who wants to win business, but understands that trust is worth more than a quick yes.
• Someone who can be persuasive without being pushy, and confident without bluffing.
• Someone who learns because they want to understand, not just because they want to pass an interview.
• Someone who takes initiative, handles setbacks, and finishes what they start. You do not need a particular degree, a technical career history, or a previous sales title. We do need evidence of judgment, learning ability, ambition, and follow-through. That evidence can come from work, a personal project, a business you built, or a situation you took responsibility for. Fluent English Is Mandatory
• You must be fluent in both written and spoken English. This is a requirement, not a preference.
• You must be able to lead a customer conversation, understand questions, explain an unfamiliar idea, and write clear professional correspondence in English. Memorising a pitch is not enough.
• Our selection process will test both written and spoken English. If you cannot yet communicate fluently in both, this role is not the right fit at present. Show Us How You Think We will not judge your potential from your CV alone. We are interested in what you can become, and what you are prepared to do to get there.
