Production Scheduler
Overview
As Production Scheduler & Material Planner at Eaton's Mobility Group in Bosconero, you convert the master plan into actionable short-term production and material plans. You will own line sequencing, material forecasting, supplier ordering, and progress control to keep production aligned with the plan. You'll connect supply planning, shopfloor logistics, and suppliers to optimize execution and recovery actions. Responsabilità
Build and maintain the rolling short-term production plan with sequencing and part-number allocation based on capacity, material availability, and customer priorities
Prepare and adjust the cutting plan and re-plan promptly when demand, supply, capacity, or execution conditions change
Translate the master plan into raw-material forecasts, purchase requirements and supplier orders
Identify and escalate shortages, late supply, and excess exposure; manage supplier and intercompany order follow-up
Own and facilitate the weekly Production Operating Review (schedule adherence, material constraints, progress, recovery actions, decisions)
Monitor production progress and align planning stock, material availability, and stock status
Own and maintain UNITY (Steel) planning inputs ensuring consistency with schedule and stock status
Request inbound premium freight when material risks threaten the plan and coordinate deliveries, recovery plans, and SLAs
Requisiti fondamentali
3+ years of production planning, material planning or scheduling in manufacturing
Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP, purchase-order management, BOMs, lead times, safety stock, capacity constraints
Advanced Excel; experience with Oracle, ASCP, DEMANTRA is advantageous
Ability to translate demand changes into practical production and supply actions
Strong ownership, analytical problem solving, and prioritization under pressure
Clear communication of constraints, decisions and recovery plans
Cross-functional influence without direct authority
