definition and development of suspension systems, including architectures, kinematics & compliance (K&C;), and component behavior (bushings, dampers, anti-roll bars, steering system, tires)
support system-level design activities with a clear understanding of suspension functionality, trade-offs, and performance targets
support vehicle integration activities, ensuring consistency between simulation models, CAD layouts, and package constraints
perform analyses of chassis systems with a focus on the interaction between simulation results and real system behavior
delivery of results in compliance with quality, cost, and timing targets
manage simulation activities across all development phases (concept ? SOP)
ensure correlation between simulation and test data
manage input/output flows between departments (CAD, testing, durability, controls)
support co-engineering activities with OEMs and suppliers
contribute to data-driven decision making for vehicle performance optimization
Requisiti:
Key requirements
5+ years of experience in automotive engineering with focus on chassis systems and multibody simulation
solid understanding of vehicle dynamics and system behavior, with proven knowledge of suspension systems (architectures, kinematics & compliance, component functionality such as bushings, dampers, anti-roll bars)
strong expertise in multibody modeling (e.g., suspension systems, steering systems, full vehicle dynamics) through CAE tools (e.g., MSC Adams or equivalent)
good experience in vehicle integration and cross-functional development environments (CAE, CAD tools e.g. CATIA, testing)
understanding of CAD and packaging constraints related to chassis/suspension systems
experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
