Market Development Specialist
Medtronic seeks a Market Development Manager to drive adoption of cranial and spinal technologies across Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. The role combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and commercialization to expand market presence and technology penetration in the region.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute market development strategies to accelerate regional adoption of cranial and spinal technologies
Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends to support business growth
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare institutions, and academic partners
Drive customer engagement, educational programs, and awareness campaigns to increase procedure utilization
Lead cross-functional projects and share best practices across the Europe organization
Requirements
- 5+ years market development, business development, or commercial excellence in medical devices or life sciences
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Experience in neurosurgery, spinal surgery, orthopedics, navigation, robotics, or digital surgery
- Demonstrated neurosurgery or cranial technologies background with clinical environment understanding
- Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration abilities
- Fluent in English and Italian; German language skills advantageous
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region
