Construction Project Manager - Milan Data Center
OverviewIn this role you lead data center construction and integration on local campus projects, shaping decisions with data-driven input.
You review engineering designs, manage resources, and align with stakeholders to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals.
You report progress through KPI data, support vendor and contract processes, and drive risk mitigation.
You will represent Microsoft on safety matters and collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact data center initiatives.
ResponsabilitàDrive local data center construction/integration activities on campus projects
Review engineering documentation, site and building plans
Ensure resources are available and manage budget, schedule, and quality
Attend and advise owner/architect/contractor and other project meetings
Monitor vendor/contractor performance and contract compliance
Track progress with KPI metrics, invoices, and change orders
Lead safety on site and ensure regulatory compliance
Document daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings
Support commissioning, start-up, and handover to operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with corporate project goals
Perform risk analysis and communicate metrics via dashboards/scorecards
