Ai Engineer
OverviewIn this role, you will build and ship LLM-powered features that directly affect thousands of travelers.
You will join a small, hands-on Science Team responsible for AI across conversational agents, AI search, and personalization.
You will design reliable AI workflows, evaluate model performance, and integrate AI with WeRoad's data stack.
You will work cross-functionally to spot new AI use cases and take ideas from prototype to production.

ResponsabilitàBuild, ship and maintain LLM-powered features (agents, classifiers, RAG pipelines, AI search)
Design and iterate on LangGraph workflows, prompts and tool-calling logic
Set up evaluations: define test sets, track quality, latency and cost with observability tools (e.g., Langfuse)
Integrate AI services with product and data stack (APIs, databases, BigQuery, GCP)
Optimize token usage, model routing, prompt efficiency and response quality
Collaborate with Product, Customer Care, Marketing and Data to move AI ideas to production
Own problems end-to-end from need understanding to shipping and monitoring

Engineering skills for production AI (latency, cost, reliability, scalability)
Experience with AI development and practical deployment
Ability to measure and validate AI behavior before deployment
