Principal System Application Engineer - Adas/Ad Compute (F/M/Div)
OverviewIn this role you translate ADAS compute system concepts into robust reference designs that support Infineon's go?to?market strategy.
You join a collaborative team to design automotive?grade power solutions for high?performance ADAS/SoC applications, bridging engineers, architects and marketing.
You lead simulations, prototype bring?up and bench validation to prove reliability and performance.
You contribute to system?level optimization using Infineon products across multiple stakeholders, helping to shape next?gen automotive power architectures.

ResponsabilitàDesign and validate automotive?grade power supply solutions for ADAS/SoC applications
Translate SoC power supply specs into robust hardware designs via simulations and bench tests
Collaborate with system architects, technical marketing and product engineers to deliver reference designs or POC solutions
Ensure compliance with automotive standards including ISO***** for electrical and functional safety
Coordinate cross?functional discussions and provide technical training/workshops
Leverage Infineon products (microcontrollers, power semiconductors, sensor ICs) for system?level solutions
Prototyping,
measurement and characterization of efficiency, thermals, ripple, and fault injection
Engage with multiple business lines to optimize end?to?end power solutions across automotive platforms
Requisiti fondamentaliHands?on expert in analog/mixed?signal power electronics and PCB design
10+ years in schematic design/layout using Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
Deep knowledge of power electronics for high current, high density PCBs (500W+ range)
Experience with microcontroller interfaces, sensors, gate drivers and automotive interfaces
Pre?layout simulation experience and proficiency with Spice and MATLAB
Strong communication skills and ability to bridge engineers and business stakeholders
Fluency in English
Practical experience with oscilloscopes and signal analysis tools
Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility and system?level optimization
Knowledge of functional safety and automotive design standards
