Transportation Construction Inspector In Rome - $35 - $55 An Hour
Fisher Associates is seeking a Construction Inspector / Engineer (NICET III or IV) to oversee a culvert replacement project in the Town of Western. The duration is expected to be approximately 1.5 months.Location: Town of WesternProject Duration: Approx. 1.5 monthsFor confidential inquiries:Email: (email hidden)all or Text: (315) 790-2512What you will do:Perform on-site inspections to confirm construction activities match approved plans and codesIdentify and report any deviations from approved plans and specificationsEnsure work complies with local, state, and federal requirementsKeep clear inspection records, including photos and notesPrepare inspection reports and document needed correctionsWork with project teams including contractors, project managers, and engineers to discuss inspection results and address any issuesAttend meetings and provide inspection updatesProvide recommendations to bring non-compliant work up to standardMonitor material quality and workmanshipOversee job sites for safety complianceReport and address any safety hazards or violations promptlyOther duties as assignedQualifications:NICET Level III or IV certification (or NYSDOT equivalent experience)OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (required)Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
