Systems Engineer - Mid-Enterprise
Overview In this role you will drive the technical closure of mid-enterprise opportunities by designing and presenting Fortinet security solutions. You'll partner with sales, customers, and partners to translate requirements into deployable architectures, lead POCs, and deliver engaging technical sessions. You will stay current on Fortinet offerings and industry threats while identifying opportunities to strengthen customer security postures.

and drive technical activities through to closure Understand customer requirements and design differentiated security solutions Keep knowledge current on Fortinet products and competitive landscape Identify opportunities to expand and improve customer security architectures Manage multiple opportunities with prioritization and focus on customer experience Maintain accurate Salesforce activity, contact, and account information Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes Security technology aptitude across encryption, authentication, network security, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VPN Experience in pre-sales, systems engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role Knowledge of modern security architectures (SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, cloud security, SOC) Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, IPsec) Experience delivering technical presentations, demos, POCs Understanding of competitive networking and security technologies Fortinet experience and certifications such as NSE, CCNP, or CISSP would be beneficial Relationship-building with customers Fortinet product knowledge (conceptual) Security architectures (SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN) TCP/IP, DNS, RADIUS, PKI, IPsec
