Commissioning Manager
?? ELECTRICAL COMMISSIONING MANAGER – MILAN! ⚡
I'm looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager (CXM) to take ownership of electrical commissioning on a major data centre project in Milan, joining the team on the General Contractor (GC) side.
The Project:
- Location: Milan, Italy ??
- Start: January 2027
- Duration: 12 months
- Position: Electrical Commissioning Manager
- General Contractor (GC) side
- EU passport essential
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full electrical commissioning process across the project.
- Coordinate commissioning teams, subcontractors and equipment vendors.
- Manage commissioning activities from Level 1 through to Level 5.
- Oversee FATs, SATs, functional testing and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Review and approve commissioning procedures, test scripts and technical documentation.
- Manage commissioning schedules, progress reporting and outstanding technical issues.
- Ensure electrical systems meet project specifications and commissioning requirements.
- Work closely with construction and project management teams to ensure successful testing and handover.
What I'm Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Commissioning Manager within data centres or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of critical electrical infrastructure, including generators, UPS, LV/MV switchgear and distribution systems.
- Experience managing commissioning teams on large-scale projects.
- Strong technical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous General Contractor experience preferred.
- Valid EU passport essential.
