Manufacturing Engineer - Automatic Assembly Processes / Process Improvement
We are partnered with a global leader in industrial technology and electrical energy management solutions. The team is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement across production processes, support lean transformation, and improve manufacturing performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Legnago, Italy.
Key responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer position:
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to identify and resolve process-related issues, minimising downtime and improving yield.
- Analyse errors and deviations in production processes and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
- Apply lean tools to eliminate waste and improve production flow.
- Identify and support automation projects related to cost reduction and capacity expansion.
- Collaborate with product development teams on cost estimation and new process design for NPI.
- Prepare technical reports, update work instructions, and maintain accurate documentation.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Management Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically in automatic assembly processes.
- Familiarity with lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of PLC systems a plus.
