Finance & Controlling Manager (m/f/d)
From hotel reservations and transfers to excursions and in-destination services – across our global network, guests rely on the DERTOUR DMC organisation as a trusted operational partner in international travel. Our network comprises 21 Destination Management Companies (DMCs) with approximately 2,000 employees, operating from 71 offices across 31 destinations worldwide, serving around 4 million guests per year. Within this international travel ecosystem, stable and reliable operational systems are essential to ensure seamless service delivery.
Following the recent integration of three Italian entities, we are looking for a Finance & Controlling Manager (m/f/d) to manage reporting, planning, and controlling activities across the business. The role serves as the main interface between local management and DMC Headquarters and supports the harmonization of processes and systems across the Rome and Tropea locations.
Your Key Tasks
- Prepare and consolidate monthly financial reporting for three legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to DMC Headquarters.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Analyze P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and key business KPIs, including variances against budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Prepare management reports and financial analyses to support local management in business decision-making.
- Act as the key finance business partner and primary interface between the Italian entities, local management, and DMC Headquarters.
- Support the integration of the recently merged Italian entities, including harmonization of reporting, controlling, and accounting processes.
- Drive synergies and continuous improvement across finance and administrative processes.
Your Profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Controlling, Financial Reporting, or FP&A.;
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel and finance systems.
- Experience with INFOR and/or TM1 is an advantage.
- Regular travel between the Rome and Tropea offices is required.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
