Driver
ABOUT THE ROLE The Driver is responsible for providing safe, punctual, discreet, and highly personalised transportation for JK Place Capri guests, while ensuring that every journey reflects the hotel’s standards of luxury hospitality, comfort, and care.
As one of the first and last JK Place representatives guests meet, the Driver creates a polished and reassuring experience from pick-up to drop-off. The role requires excellent driving ability, thoughtful guest assistance, strong local knowledge, meticulous vehicle care, and close coordination with the Guest Greeter, Front Office, Concierge, Porters, and transport providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport guests safely, comfortably, and punctually between the port, hotel and town center.
- Review daily transfer schedules and special requests, confirming pick-up times, locations, passenger details, and luggage requirements with the relevant hotel teams.
- Welcome guests warmly and assist them when entering and exiting the vehicle,
and handle luggage and personal belongings with care.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the Guest Greeter, Front Office, Concierge, Porters, and external transport providers regarding guest movements and operational updates.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, checking fuel, tyres, lights, fluid levels, cleanliness, safety equipment, and any visible damage or mechanical concerns.
- Comply with all traffic laws, licensing requirements, road restrictions, hotel safety standards, and emergency procedures.
- Report accidents, vehicle faults, delays, guest concerns, or security issues immediately and follow the appropriate escalation process.
- Support authorised hotel errands, deliveries, and operational transportation when requested, without compromising scheduled guest services.
