Corporate banking placement analyst
Citi is looking for an intern to join the corporate banking team in milan for a 6‑month internship starting in january or february 2027.
Responsibilities
- conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash‑flow modelling and capital‑markets analysis.
- complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
- liaise with product partners.
- assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients.
- participate in live deal structuring.
- drive client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions.
Requirements
- available to start in january or february 2027.
- strong academic record and currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement.
- fluent in italian and english.
- solid analytical and quantitative skills, balance‑sheet knowledge and high attention to detail.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- genuine interest in corporate finance and a dedication to learning.
- commitment to personal growth, teamwork and ethical decision‑making.
salary range: 51,100€ – 73,900€ per year (full‑time equivalent).
