We support clients and the Group across a broad range of transactions, including M&A; advisory, capital raising (private equity and IPOs), corporate bond issuances, debt structuring and leveraged financeWe are looking for an Intern to join our team in Milan. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on live transactions alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you will doYou will support the team across the execution of corporate finance transactions, working closely with an Associate and the broader deal team.
In particular, you will:Contribute to the execution of transactions within your team, with a focus on M&A;, leveraged finance or private debt depending on your assignmentCarry out industry and company research, supporting investment and strategic analysesPerform financial analyses, including financial statement review, valuation and financial modelingSupport the preparation of financial models, presentations and transaction materials (pitchbooks, information memoranda, internal documentation)Contribute to the assessment of risk-return profiles of potential transactions,
including those involving the Sella GroupAssist in internal approval processes and gain exposure to relevant committeesWhat we are looking forMaster’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from a top-tier universityStrong knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular)Proficiency in English; international study or work experience is a plusNice to haveBackground in accounting, finance or taxUnderstanding of banking, financial regulation, capital structures and market valuationsPrevious experience or academic exposure to M&A;, leveraged finance or transaction servicesWhat you can expectYou will join a collaborative team where you can learn by doing and gain exposure to a wide range of corporate finance transactions. The internship is designed to provide a solid foundation for a future career in investment banking or corporate finance.
