Engineering Manager (Go), Commercial Systems
Overview In this role you lead Nutanix's Systems Engineering across EMEA South to align technology with business goals. You will shape the regional SE strategy, develop leaders, and drive a transformation toward cloud-native platforms, AI, and data sovereignty. You'll partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into technical and commercial outcomes. Set and execute the regional vision for Systems Engineering across EMEA South, aligned with Nutanix priorities.
Lead multi-country operations, balancing regional consistency with market-specific needs.
Advance SE capabilities toward hybrid multicloud, cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, and AI.
Translate customer business priorities into technology strategies and outcomes.
Collaborate with Sales to shape account strategy and ensure alignment with SE.
Partner with Product, Engineering and partners to feed market insight into priorities.
Use data and performance indicators to assess effectiveness and guide investment.
Serve as a senior escalation point for complex customer, partner and organizational situations.
Extensive leadership experience in Systems Engineering or equivalent/customer-facing tech leadership.
Proven ability to lead leaders across multiple countries or distributed teams.
Track record of transforming teams through technology or go-to-market changes.
Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure, hybrid multicloud, and modern platforms (cloud-native, Kubernetes, AI, automation).
Ability to connect technology strategy with customer outcomes and revenue opportunities.
Experience partnering with senior Sales leaders and building SE relationships.
Strong executive presence and stakeholder engagement across customers, partners, and internal leadership.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with cultural awareness for multiple markets.
Fluency in English; additional European languages are highly valued.
