Automotive Field Service Engineer
OverviewIn this role you will support dealerships and repairers across Italy, both on-site and remotely, to diagnose and resolve complex electrical, electronic, and drivability faults.
You will work with OEM diagnostic tools, read wiring diagrams, and identify root causes to reduce downtime and improve first?time repairs.
You'll coach technicians, generate clear technical reports, and contribute to continuous improvement across fleets.
This position blends field work with office-based collaboration in Milan, aligning with MSX's mission to support automotive networks and mobility partners.
ResponsabilitàSupport dealerships and repairers on-site and remotely
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical/electronic/drivability faults
Use OEM tools for diagnostics, flashing, and parameterization
Identify root causes using wiring diagrams and documentation
Support individual cases and wider technical issues across fleets
Create clear technical reports and case updates
Coach technicians and provide hands-on guidance
Feed recurring issues into continuous improvement
Requisiti fondamentaliStrong experience in automotive diagnostics/technical support/workshop or field service
Proven ability to fix complex electrical/electronic faults
Hands-on use of OEM diagnostic tools
Confidence reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation
Experience working with workshops, engineering, or technical teams
Ability to support and guide technicians
Preferred: field-based or multi-site support with multi-brand OEM/importer background
