We are looking for a Transport Site Manager _ Borgo San Giovanni (LO)
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a network of transport partners and suppliers, ensuring operational excellence, service quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in strengthening relationships with carriers, supporting business growth, and driving continuous improvement across the transportation network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the transportation partner network through market scouting and supplier acquisition activities.
- Manage relationships with carriers and transport providers, ensuring compliance with DHL operational standards and procedures.
- Negotiate rates, service agreements, and commercial conditions with transportation partners.
- Monitor operational and financial performance through service, quality, and productivity KPIs.
- Support strategic suppliers in improving processes, organizational models,
and operational capabilities.
- Partner with Quality and Security teams during supplier audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage relationships with key customers, ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Operations, and internal stakeholders to drive business performance.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Engineering, or Economic
- Proven experience as a Transport Manager, Logistic Manager or similar role within transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with experience managing key stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong analytical and KPI management skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
Salary Range: 48.000€ - 58.000€ Gross Annual Salary
