Senior Application Engineer
Overview
As Senior Application Engineer, you act as a strategic consultant bridging complex hydraulic engineering with business solutions. You lead the design and validation of custom systems for major OEMs, influencing product roadmaps through close R&D; collaboration. You drive high-impact projects, mentor teammates, and represent the company at international events. This role offers the chance to shape advanced hydraulics and electro-hydraulic architectures within a global sales-technical team.

Responsabilità
- Oversee and validate system design requests to ensure alignment with machine applications and global objectives
- Design advanced hydraulic circuits and electro-hydraulic control systems interfacing with OEM architectures
- Lead circuit and system simulation to reduce time-to-market and technical risk
- Collaborate with R&D; for new product development and market insights shaping the roadmap
- Provide high-level technical support and coordinate urgent field interventions
- Manage full lifecycle of complex custom projects including budget, timelines, and risk
- Build and maintain high-level technical relationships with decision-makers at major OEMs
- Develop technology packages for targeted vertical markets aligned with growth strategies
- Mentor junior team members and lead Customer Tech Days; represent the company at international exhibitions
- Support and oversee audits to ensure quality and regulatory adherence
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related)
- 7–10+ years in hydraulic systems application for mobile equipment
- Mastery of hydraulic valves and integrated manifolds
- Deep knowledge of electro-hydraulic systems for mobile machinery
- Strong electronics and Fieldbus (e.g., CAN-bus) proficiency
- Commercial experience in technical sales or related environment
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Full professional proficiency in English and Italian
- Advanced problem solving
- Leadership and organization
- Mobility and willingness to travel
