Databricks Data Product Technical Owner d/f/m
Overview
In this role you will design, develop, and govern data products and pipelines on the Databricks platform to enable scalable analytics, reporting, and AI. You’ll work within a newly established Data Organization to advance a Data Mesh operating model and establish engineering practices and governance. You will translate business needs into robust data solutions while aligning with architecture and platform standards, combining hands-on delivery with coordination and governance. This is a cross-functional, impact-driven role that accelerates data-driven decision making across the organization.

Responsabilità
- Design, develop, and maintain Data Products and data pipelines on Databricks
- Support reporting, analytics, and AI use cases with scalable data solutions
- Contribute to data architecture, modeling, standards, and design reviews
- Coordinate delivery across Data Engineers, Architects, stakeholders, vendors and partners
- Support backlog management, sprint planning, release planning, and dependency management
- Drive issue resolution, performance optimization, and operational improvements
- Support Data Governance activities including metadata, lineage, definitions, certification, and stewardship
- Implement and monitor data quality, access control, and compliance
- Support platform operations, incident management, and continuous improvement
- Leverage AI assistants and modern tools to accelerate development and documentation
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or other STEM disciplines
- 3/5 years of BI project management experience with a focus on Databricks
- Experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS-based data platforms
- Experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, BI, or Analytics environments
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, ServiceNow, and Agile tools (Rally)
- Experience supporting production environments and operational processes
- Flexible mindset across engineering, delivery, operations and governance
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Databricks certifications preferred; additional credentials in Data Engineering, AWS Cloud, Data Governance, or Analytics advantageous
