Power Electronics Engineer
Overview You will join a cross-functional team to design, test, and validate power conversion architectures and components. You’ll help develop next-generation power products aligned with customer needs and industry standards. The role involves collaboration with service, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure robust design and manufacturability. You will document results, drive performance improvements, and report progress to stakeholders. * Analyze, design and test future conversion topologies and components (power conversion stage, gate drivers, magnetics)
* Perform lab tests to advance technology readiness and verify performance
* Define product specifications in collaboration with engineering divisions and offering
* Support testing team in planning and assessing results
* Prepare technical documentation including simulation results, schematics and component specs
* Apply lessons learned from previous projects to new ones
* Report progress, risks,

* 3+ years in UPS or power conversion platforms (AC/DC, DC/DC)
* Knowledge of IGBT, MOSFET, SiC power switches in power modules and discrete packages
* Magnetics design experience for inductors and transformers; magnetics modelling in PLECS
* Gate driver circuits, analog and protection circuits, PWM modulation techniques
* EMC mitigation and filtering design; international standards compliance
* Air and liquid cooling techniques and thermal system sizing
* Manufacturability and serviceability oriented converter design
* Prototype development, troubleshooting, tuning and testing
* Plecs and Spice proficiency; strong planning and communication
* Collaborative, customer-oriented with willingness to travel; English proficiency
