Overview
In this role you lead Direct Procurement platform governance, coordinating supplier strategies across Leather Goods, RTW, Shoes, Tannery, and Metal Hardware. You translate platform guidelines into concrete, scalable decisions and drive best practices in supplier management and negotiations. You'll manage cross-functional teams in a matrix setup and report to the Platform Leader, shaping procurement Strategy in a luxury context. Responsabilità
- Coordinate supplier strategies and rationalization initiatives across Category Platforms
- Harmonize preferred supplier selection processes
- Define best practices for negotiation, scouting, benchmarking, onboarding
- Coordinate Brands Procurement within the Platform requiring leadership inputs
- Define and monitor KPIs (quality, delivery, cost) and drive corrective actions
- Support continuous procurement process improvement and shared tools across Platforms
Requisiti fondamentali
- Experience in direct procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management (10–15 years)
- Familiarity with at least one target category (leather goods, shoes, RTW, metal hardware, tanneries)
- Ability to operate in a matrix organization with dual reporting lines
- Strong communication skills for senior stakeholder discussions (C-level)
- Leadership and mentoring experience
