Robotics Procurement Specialist
Overview In this role you will drive procurement for ABB Robotics Italy, shaping sourcing for automation, robotics and AI technologies. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to secure supply continuity, negotiate complex agreements, and push cost optimization. You’ll support NPI and industrialization and deliver training to ensure compliance and professional growth. * Develop and execute sourcing strategies for automation, robotics, AI and advanced technology categories
* Negotiate pricing, lead times, service levels, and long-term partnership agreements
* Collaborate with Engineering, R&D;, Manufacturing and Project Management teams in an international context
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction,
value engineering, and supply chain optimization
* Support new product introduction (NPI) and industrialization projects
* Ensure implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing activities in the Procurement function
* Deliver and participate in training programs to ensure compliance and professional development Requisiti fondamentali
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related disciplines
* At least 10 years of procurement experience in industrial automation, robotics, electronics, mechatronics, or high-tech manufacturing
* Excellent analytical and commercial negotiation skills
* Passion for Robotics, Automation, and AI
* Proficient in English
* Knowledge of SAP
* Current visa to work in Italy
