Not funded by a EU programme Is the Job related to staff position within a Research Infrastructure? No
Offer Description The project focuses on the development and application of innovative approaches for the integrated analysis of 'omics' data (genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, metagenomics, and related disciplines) to support advanced biotechnological applications. The activities involve the use of second- and third-generation high-throughput sequencing platforms,
as well as the integration of bioinformatic methodologies and artificial intelligence for data interpretation and the identification of biomarkers, genetic variants, and molecular mechanisms of interest. Furthermore, the project may include the experimental validation of the developed approaches—using molecular biology techniques, functional genomics, and other experimental assays—to verify their efficacy and facilitate their transfer to the biomedical, industrial, and agri-food sectors.
