Digital Project Engineer
OverviewIn this role you act as the focal design authority for engineering disciplines on tenders and projects, ensuring solutions meet specs, quality, and safety.
You will support local units through design, testing, installation, and commissioning, contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in the EMEA region.
You collaborate with cross?functional teams to align technical deliverables with contractual obligations and best practices.
This position offers hands-on engineering impact at scale with global coordination and knowledge sharing.
ResponsabilitàProvide technical support for engineering design, documentation, testing, and commissioning procedures
Support tender and project documentation; participate in meetings and resolve technical issues to meet contracts
Contribute to engineering proposals, planning, and design verification checklists per standards
Ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance; perform risk assessments and follow-up actions
Escalate contract, safety, quality, schedule, or cost issues to Project Managers and support variation requests
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Project Managers, and factories to ensure manufactured, staged, and tested solutions
Coordinate with Commissioning and Service teams for correct installation and update deliverables
Share best practices and identify process or tool inefficiencies for improvement
Requisiti fondamentaliDeep knowledge of MV/LV systems and system design (Protection & Control, Automation, Auxiliary)
Experience with MV switchgear engineering processes in an EPC environment
Familiarity with IEC ***** and MODBUS; experience with ZENON; protection relays (REx family, SSC 600) or similar
Understanding of data center applications (hyperscale, colocation)
Experience with commissioning activities and FAT/SAT quality procedures
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across regions and functions
