pWe are looking for anb Event and Audio-Visual Technician /b who combines hands?on technical skills with an interest in the EU.
/ppThe Europa Experience Centre in Rome Italy, serves as an educational hub and a platform for engaging with the EU, offering visitors a unique experience to understand the EU's history, institutions, and role in shaping a common European future.
Key attractions within the Centre include an interactive exhibition space equipped with multimedia stations, a 360° cinema that showcases Europe's journey and its future, and a Role Play Game.
This game allows participants to simulate the roles of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) in a hands?on learning experience.
/ph3You will: /h3ulliSet up and operate audio-visual equipment for events: microphones, sound systems, presentations and videoconferencing; /liliRun hybrid meetings and live streams to YouTube and social media; /liliRecord audio and video of events; /liliSupport speakers and organisers before and during events; /liliReport malfunctions of exhibition and Role Play Game equipment; /liliWhen there are no events, work as part of the floor team: welcome visitors, present the exhibition and run Role Play Game sessions.

/h3ulliCompleted university degree; /liliVery good knowledge of the EU, its institutions and current affairs; /liliItalian at C2 level and English at minimum B2 level; /liliPractical experience with AV equipment, hybrid meetings and live streaming; /liliProblem?solving attitude and calm under pressure during live events; /liliFlexibility to work shifts, including occasional evening or early?morning events; /liliExperience as an AV technician at conferences, venues or institutions is an advantage; /liliExperience with visitors or school groups is an advantage; /liliKnowledge of other EU languages, in particular French, German or Spanish, is an advantage; /liliA valid first?aid certificate is an advantage.
